WHAT to WEAR?

The most simple guide to looking and feeling your best.

RELAXED CLOTHING.

Not to be confused with baggy, wearing something comfortable you can move around in is essential. You don’t want your clothes to restrict any movement or position for your session. Also, staying away from heels is an excellent idea unless your session is formal attire.

DON'T MATCH. coordinate COLORS

Avoid wearing the same color as it makes for a dull photo. Instead, choose 2-3 complementary colors and coordinate through them. Breaking up the color is key for a dynamic and interesting gallery.

STICK to EARTH TONES

Stay away from the neon and over-saturated colors. Instead, go for something airy, muted, earthy or soft. This will make you the center of attention and make your photos timeless.

AVOID LARGE PATTERNS, TEXT OR GARMENTS with LOGOS.

Stay away from big patterns as they can be distracting and unflattering. Stick to solid colors or smaller patterns for an interesting wardrobe. Avoid clothes with text or logos as they draw attention away from the subject. Keep it simple, solid, and timeless.

MORE on COLOR

Our photographic style is niched and curated down to a specific look that consists of warm tones. With that, our editing and style lends itself to a certain color palette.

To achieve this timeless look, we recommend going with warm earth-toned colors. Creams, beiges, browns, greens, whites, blacks, yellows, and oranges are all examples  of colors that compliments our style of editing. Remember to always lean toward the muted vs. overly saturated colors.
